I started going to Studio 7 Fitness about 9 months ago. Honestly to say it has been life changing in an understatement! From the moment I walked in the door I felt a calm, welcoming, non-intimidating atmosphere. It was unlike any other gym I had been in before. They focus not just on the physical but on the mental side of their members too. My body shape is changing, I have lost weight but most of all I am so much more positive about exercise. Following a road accident and long hospital stay following a double leg fracture, I attended Studio 7 for Rehabilitation. A warm welcome awaited and a detailed assessment was carried out where orthopaedics and physio reports were considered. Much focus was placed on form and alignment, core stability / safety before mobility. Instructions were always kept simple, demonstrated with a calm confidence and much encouragement. The resilience to absorb my new challenges together with the obvious progression without any setbacks whatsoever, was a huge boost for me. Both physio and orthopaedic units were most impressed with how my body had adapted and have since discharged me.

I have made a healthy return to some athletic activities and competed at county and provincial cross country fixtures and some road / parkrun events. My rehabilitation program at Studio 7 truly made all the difference, go raibh míle maith agat Michael.

You see, we’re a little bit different from a big corporate gym, a CrossFit box or Bootcamp. We DON’T cram as many people into sessions as possible. We only train people one-to-one, in small groups or group personal training.

This is uncommon in the fitness world in recent years but it works for our clients and for us, as they get better results and personal attention.
